Yarragon, 9 Campbell St, Yarragon VIC 3823, Australia

About the Event

The Baw Baw Sustainability Network is vitally concerned that new residential subdivisions are future proofed using the Sustainable Subdivisions Framework (SSF) and the Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD) for the built environment.

The Council Alliance for the Sustainable Built Environment has developed the SSF and ESD and is now assisting Councils in implementing these concepts and continuing to trial the detail in these plans.

Our Baw Baw Shire Council has adopted an Environmental Strategy that encompasses the SSF and ESD.

BBSN has invited the Manager of Planning to explain steps being taken to implement the strategy.

We will have information from CASBE about the SSF and we will also have a local planner consultant who will further explain the application of these concepts in practice.

This is your opportunity to learn about how the Baw Baw Shire can use these frameworks to build a flourishing and sustainable community and ask questions of our Shire.

Limited places available, bookings essential.
