About the Event
Open the door to sustainable living by joining our bus tour, visiting some of Australia’s most environmentally progressive homes on show at Sustainable House Day, Sunday 15th September 2019.
We'll be visiting 4 homes in Trafalgar, Narracan and Yarragon, showcasing options for homescale renewable energy generation (solar, wind, microhydro, biogas) and batteries, features of passive solar design, efficient ways to heat water, heat and cool, the importance of getting windows right, efficient appliances, insulation and air tightness testing and more. If you'd like to bring along your energy bills there'll be a chance to discuss them with one of our experts too.
