🌱 You're Invited: Powering the Future with AGL


Loy Yang A power station is targeted for closure in 2035, AGL reshapes its future energy portfolio in one of the most significant decarbonisation initiatives in Australia.


AGL representatives – Shannon Rice, Manager Rehabilitation and Project Engagement - Loy Yang and Dwayne McAlpine, Manager Civil, Development & Rehabilitation – will be visiting on Thursday July 31 at 7pm to dicuss the development of a draft Declared Mine Rehabilitation Plan (DMRP) for AGL’s Loy Yang Mine for submission to the Victorian Government. This is one element of environmental and regulatory assessments that will be undertaken during the closure and rehabilitation planning process for Loy Yang Mine. The DMRP will outline the actions AGL Loy Yang will take to rehabilitate land impacted by mining to create safe, stable and sustainable landforms which support the next land use.
